Campaign Staff Profiles

While doing research on line I came across some interesting information on the Edwards campaign at a web sight called: theatlantic.com. David Boior along with Elizabeth Edwards managed the campaign staff; because of her battle with cancer, Elizabeth Edwards had to take time off the campaign trail early on in the race. Joe Trippi, a well-known democratic strategist who managed Howard Dean’s campaign, joined the team after being recruited by Elizabeth Edwards (http://www.theatlantic.com/, 02/13/08).

Another member of Edwards’ now defunct team that worked for Dean in 04 is Paul Blank. He was brought on board to oversee the daily operations of the campaign. In addition to serving as political director to Howard Dean, Mr. Blank worked organizing a union campaign against Wal-Mart (http://www.atlantic.com/, 02/13/08).

The Chief pollster for the Edwards team was Harrison Hickman.
